Ezekiel 2-3

2:1 And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.
2:2 And the Spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet; and I heard him that spake unto me.
2:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to nations that are rebellious, which have rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me even unto this very day.
2:4 And the children are impudent and stiffhearted: I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah.
2:5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
2:6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
2:7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.
2:8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that which I give thee.
2:9 And when I looked, behold, a hand was put forth unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
2:10 and he spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
3:1 And he said unto me, Son of man, eat that which thou findest; eat this roll, and go, speak unto the house of Israel.
3:2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the roll.
3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
3:5 For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel;
3:6 not to many peoples of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, if I sent thee to them, they would hearken unto thee.
3:7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are of a hard forehead and of a stiff heart.
3:8 Behold, I have made thy face hard against their faces, and thy forehead hard against their foreheads.
3:9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
3:10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thy heart, and hear with thine ears.
3:11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
3:12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of Jehovah from his place.
3:13 And I heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, even the noise of a great rushing.
3:14 So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and the hand of Jehovah was strong upon me.
3:15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel-abib, that dwelt by the river Chebar, and to where they dwelt; and I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.
3:16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand.
3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
3:20 Again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thy hand.
3:21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning; and thou hast delivered thy soul.
3:22 And the hand of Jehovah was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.
3:23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of Jehovah stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.
3:24 Then the Spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet; and he spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thy house.
3:25 But thou, son of man, behold, they shall lay bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:
3:26 and I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover; for they are a rebellious house.
3:27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.

Psalm 135:13-21

135:13 Thy name, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; Thy memorial name, O Jehovah, throughout all generations.
135:14 For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his servants.
135:15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands.
135:16 They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;
135:17 They have ears, but they hear not; Neither is there any breath in their mouths.
135:18 They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.
135:19 O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah: O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah:
135:20 O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah: Ye that fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.
135:21 Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.

Hebrews 7:11-28

7:11 Now if there was perfection through the Levitical priesthood (for under it hath the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be reckoned after the order of Aaron?
7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
7:13 For he of whom these things are said belongeth to another tribe, from which no man hath given attendance at the altar.
7:14 For it is evident that our Lord hath sprung out of Judah; as to which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priests.
7:15 And what we say is yet more abundantly evident, if after the likeness of Melchizedek there ariseth another priest,
7:16 who hath been made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life:
7:17 for it is witnessed of him, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek.
7:18 For there is a disannulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness
7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in thereupon of a better hope, through which we draw nigh unto God.
7:20 And inasmuch as it is not without the taking of an oath
7:21 (for they indeed have been made priests without an oath; but he with an oath by him that saith of him, The Lord sware and will not repent himself, Thou art a priest for ever);
7:22 by so much also hath Jesus become the surety of a better covenant.
7:23 And they indeed have been made priests many in number, because that by death they are hindered from continuing:
7:24 but he, because he abideth for ever, hath his priesthood unchangeable.
7:25 Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
7:26 For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
7:27 who needeth not daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself.
7:28 For the law appointeth men high priests, having infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was after the law, appointeth a Son, perfected for evermore.
