Isaiah 23

23:1 The burden of Tyre.Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Kittim it is revealed to them.
23:2 Be still, ye inhabitants of the coast, thou whom the merchants of Sidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.
23:3 And on great waters the seed of the Shihor, the harvest of the Nile, was her revenue; and she was the mart of nations.
23:4 Be thou ashamed, O Sidon; for the sea hath spoken, the stronghold of the sea, saying, I have not travailed, nor brought forth, neither have I nourished young men, nor brought up virgins.
23:5 When the report cometh to Egypt, they shall be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.
23:6 Pass ye over to Tarshish; wail, ye inhabitants of the coast.
23:7 Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days, whose feet carried her afar off to sojourn?
23:8 Who hath purposed this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honorable of the earth?
23:9 Jehovah of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.
23:10 Pass through thy land as the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish; there is no restraint any more.
23:11 He hath stretched out his hand over the sea, he hath shaken the kingdoms: Jehovah hath given commandment concerning Canaan, to destroy the strongholds thereof.
23:12 And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin daughter of Sidon: arise, pass over to Kittim; even there shalt thou have no rest.
23:13 Behold, the land of the Chaldeans: this people was not; the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness; they set up their towers; they overthrew the palaces thereof; they made it a ruin.
23:14 Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for your stronghold is laid waste.
23:15 And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years it shall be unto Tyre as in the song of the harlot.
23:16 Take a harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered.
23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that Jehovah will visit Tyre, and she shall return to her hire, and shall play the harlot with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
23:18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to Jehovah: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before Jehovah, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.

Psalm 85

85:1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Jehovah, thou hast been favorable unto thy land; Thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
85:2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; Thou hast covered all their sin.[Selah
85:3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; Thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
85:4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, And cause thine indignation toward us to cease.
85:5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
85:6 Wilt thou not quicken us again, That thy people may rejoice in thee?
85:7 Show us thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, And grant us thy salvation.
85:8 I will hear what God Jehovah will speak; For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: But let them not turn again to folly.
85:9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, That glory may dwell in our land.
85:10 Mercy and truth are met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
85:11 Truth springeth out of the earth; And righteousness hath looked down from heaven.
85:12 Yea, Jehovah will give that which is good; And our land shall yield its increase.
85:13 Righteousness shall go before him, And shall make his footsteps a way to walk in.

Galatians 4:21-31

4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the handmaid, and one by the freewoman.
4:23 Howbeit the son by the handmaid is born after the flesh; but the son by the freewoman is born through promise.
4:24 Which things contain an allegory: for these women are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children unto bondage, which is Hagar.
4:25 Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia and answereth to the Jerusalem that now is: for she is in bondage with her children.
4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.
4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her that hath the husband.
4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so also it is now.
4:30 Howbeit what saith the scripture? Cast out the handmaid and her son: for the son of the handmaid shall not inherit with the son of the freewoman.
4:31 Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a handmaid, but of the freewoman.
